Constituent Involvement – A New Trend!

A NEW trend in Politics is about INVOLVEMENT.  Less talk, less arguing, more focused involvement in city, township, and county governance, policies, and practices.  The trend is away from politics and towards meaningful results through engagement.   This means more concerned citizens attending meetings and voicing their opinions.  Running for office to replace out-of-touch or ineffective officials, or simply belonging to action oriented groups that demand responsibility and accountability from elected officials.

Organizations such as the St. Clair County MI Republication Party have established and staffed effective volunteer operations and ground game committees that are making a major difference.  Organization leaders are using Social Media to get the word out about their organizations, their purpose, values, and initiatives.  And, grassroots individuals are forming non-profit organizations to address a variety of issues that they care about such as Moms for Liberty.

This is important because the average citizen has very little understanding of how their local government(s) work and how their decisions impact their family’s lives.  Now, involvement is about taking back control.  Not waiting for the other guy to handle the problem, or the other gal to step forward.  It’s about personal engagement.  Caring enough to make a difference.

Joe Pavlov supports citizen involvement at every level from Precinct Delegates on up.  Let’s get involved.  Let’s make a difference!!
